Abby Lescallette

As a volleyball coach, my philosophy centers on creating a culture based on teamwork, respect, and improvement. I try to create an environment that helps athletes feel comfortable making mistakes and open to adjusting and learning different skills. Just like them, I am also constantly learning, whether it's from other coaches or the girls themselves. One of my coaching goals is to make the volleyball players become better people not only on the court, but outside of volleyball as well! Effort and hard work is a big thing for me. I believe that if at the end of the day, a player can look at themselves in the mirror and say they did the best they could, that's all I could ask for, regardless of if we win or lose.
