EXPERIENCE
I played volleyball in high school at New Brighton as a middle hitter and decided to not continue playing through college. While attending Slippery Rock University, I continued my passion for volleyball by volunteering when I could. After graduating, I coached at a few Beaver County high schools and have recently, began assisting at Western Beaver. I have also coached at the club level for the last 5 years and am excited to continue my passion for coaching at Renaissance.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that the best teams don't necessarily win the most, but have a strong bond built within each other. With that bond, you can work together to push each other to their full potential. The experience you get from a team bond can outweigh the winning record, and that is what sticks with an athlete for a lifetime. I also believe that there are many lessons to be learned that relate to scenarios off the court. My hope is to pass on the passion that I have for the game to the athletes that I coach and help develop them into well-rounded adults.
WHAT I BRING TO THE GYM
Excitement, positive energy, and years of experience being a leader on and off of the court.
WHEN I'M NOT COACHING VOLLEYBALL
I'm spending time with family and friends, watching sports, or catching up on much needed sleep.
SOMETHING YOU PROBABLY DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME
My mom had to force me to play volleyball in 8th grade because I didn't want to play and she thought I would like it.
