Kolbe Cole
Head Coach
EXPERIENCE
Kolbe Cole discovered her passion for volleyball at the age of 12 and dedicated herself to the sport through years of competitive club volleyball and her playing career at New Brighton High School before continuing into college. She credits the coaches who invested in her development as the inspiration behind her own coaching philosophy and commitment to mentoring young athletes.
Kolbe began her coaching career as the assistant coach for the Beaver Falls 7th and 8th grade girls’ volleyball team before returning to her alma mater as the head coach of the New Brighton High School varsity girls’ volleyball program. She has also coached with the Advanced Approach Volleyball Club and the Zero Tolerance Volleyball Club, helping athletes to develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe coaching is about more than teaching volleyball. I am committed to building a positive, competitive culture that emphasizes accountability, teamwork, leadership, and personal growth. I feel passionately that the skills learned on the volleyball court translates to everyday life and success.
WHAT I BRING TO THE GYM
I like to think I bring an open mindedness to the gym that allows players and coaches to learn collectively and explore the endless possibilities of the game.
WHEN I'M NOT COACHING VOLLEYBALL
I am spending time with my family, traveling, hanging out by water somewhere and experiencing new things when I can.
SOMETHING YOU PROBABLY DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME
I am an introvert and I love traveling alone.
