Paige Cousley
Head Coach
EXPERIENCE
I began playing volleyball when I was 6 through USYVL. I began playing club volleyball when I was 12, starting at Pittsburgh Magic Volleyball Club, followed by Renaissance Volleyball Club for a year, then P3R Volleyball Club from ages 14-18. I played middle school volleyball (2015-2016) and high school volleyball (2017-2020) at Chartiers Valley, where I was a DS/libero. I also played college volleyball at Waynesburg University (2021-2024) where I was a setter/DS.
I have been coaching regularly with various age groups since I graduated high school in 2021. I have previously coached a travel team with another club while I was in college, but am excited to begin my first season with Renaissance.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe volleyball is about more than winning, it’s about growth, teamwork, and confidence. My goal as a coach is to create a positive, competitive, and supportive environment where players can challenge themselves, learn from mistakes, and celebrate progress. I want each athlete to leave the court not only with stronger skills, but with a deeper love for the game and the lessons it teaches.
WHAT I BRING TO THE GYM
I bring passion for the game and a love for teaching it every time I step into the gym. As a recent player, I know that excitement for the game comes first and I hope to share that with each athlete.
WHEN I'M NOT COACHING VOLLEYBALL
You'll find me doing anything that keeps me entertained! I enjoy going to the gym, hanging out with friends, or trying new hobbies.
SOMETHING YOU PROBABLY DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME
I have a Bachelors of Science in Forensic Science from Waynesburg University!
