EXPERIENCE

I began my volleyball career at Corry High School where I played varsity for four years, collecting accolades like All-Region, All-District, and All-State from 2019-2022. Even now, you can count on the Corry team to consistently be in the state playoffs, even taking runner-up in AA last fall. It's only right that I made my coaching debut there, returning for the past four summers to coach the Corry Volleyball Summer Camp, in which girls from 5th to 12th grade learn skills, practice them in drills, and receive meaningful feedback.

My other incentive to coach was to sneak in some summer reps, as I have been competing at the collegiate level at Westminster College from 2022 to present. As I enter my senior season, I realized that I have changed so much from a self-conscious girl into a mature, confident woman through the leadership and communication that this sport has taught me. I can never be too far from the court, so it was only natural that I begin coaching as soon as I put my knee pads away.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that respect is the cornerstone of a strong and unified team. I would like to foster a positive environment where every player feels seen, valued, and empowered to contribute. Volleyball is a game of connection, and I emphasize that success comes not just from individual skill, but from trust, communication, and shared effort. I encourage my athletes to support one another, take ownership of their growth, and recognize their shortcomings. By building a culture of mutual respect and teamwork, we create a space where players develop not only as athletes, but as confident, compassionate individuals.

WHAT I BRING TO THE GYM

I bring a loud voice and lots of energy into the gym in hopes that I will excite those around me to work hard, make good mistakes, and have fun.

WHEN I'M NOT COACHING VOLLEYBALL

I can be found with a good book, on a boat, or spending time with my cat and husband, Hunter. I also spend lots of time in the dental office to enhance my dental school application and chit chat with patients.

SOMETHING YOU PROBABLY DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME

I am fluent in Spanish and have been studying the language for 8 years, I have even taken mission trips to the Dominican Republic!

Volleyball is a game of mistakes. It's more about making good mistakes instead of striving for perfection.
