Head Coach
EXPERIENCE
I played volleyball throughout high school, along with club volleyball at Renny! I then continued playing at Westminster College and am going into my senior year.
I gave lessons this past summer to local players and loved it! After I finish my last season this fall, I am grateful to be able get back in the gym for club season.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy on sports is that effort and respect are the most important. I strive to emphasize encouragement, personal growth, and all-out effort. I believe sports is not only to develop better athletes, but to develop better people! They're so many lessons learned in sports that we continue to carry with us. I focus on effort over outcome, improvement over perfection, and character over talent. I also enhance the mindset of playing for the girl next to you on the court.
WHAT I BRING TO THE GYM
I hope to give some of the love I have for volleyball to each girl to help her feel more confident, and a more skilled player.
WHEN I'M NOT COACHING VOLLEYBALL
I am hanging out with my volleyball friends, or working out. I also love playing pickleball with my family!
SOMETHING YOU PROBABLY DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME
I have never had a pet :(
Angie also shares:
