Assistant Coach
EXPERIENCE
Volleyball has been such an important part of my life, but after a serious injury ended my playing career in high school, I was inspired to give back through coaching. I want to focus on helping athletes gain confidence both on and off the court. I believe in leaving everything you have on the court. If you only have 50% to give you should give 100% of that. This is something I live by even outside of volleyball.
I also want athletes to know that their sport and performance does not define them. Your sport is what you do, not who you are.
PHILOSOPHY
Passion and positivity
WHAT I BRING TO THE GYM
This will be my first year coaching and I am super excited! I have played 5 years of club. The last two years I played for Renaissance. I have played for Peters Township since middle school. Freshman year I was unable to play due to an injury. Both sophomore and junior year I earned two varsity letters. Junior year I earned the libero position and lead my team to the quarterfinals for the WPIAL 4A tournament.
WHEN I'M NOT COACHING VOLLEYBALL
You can find me on the water bass fishing in competitive tournaments, listening to Morgan Wallen, and spending time with my family and dog.
SOMETHING YOU PROBABLY DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME
I plan to go to college to study biomedical engineering to help athletes like myself.
